The House
Nested on the hills of Trexenta, in the historical center of a prosperous Spanish duchy, you will find Antica Locanda Lunetta, which was a coaching inn in the 17th century, before being turned into a country house. Following many years of intense restoration work, the house has once again become a hosting place for travellers.
The famous writer D.H. Lawrence and his wife Frieda stayed there while travelling through Sardinia in 1921, and were the guests of Calogero and Dondina Lunetta, our great-grandparents.
Everywhere in the house you will stumble upon family souvenirs and details of our ancestors’ lives, in a peaceful and elegant atmosphere.
